ROMAN DOESN’T DISAPPOINT, BAD LUCK DOES.

The cold wind has not stopped the show at Motorland Aragon, many fans of World Superbike and COMI’s thrilled guests and many Roman’s fans have come to enjoy the races, which, as usual, did not disappoint.Roman has found immediately the feeling in his home track, but not managing to enter into superspole 2 for a fault at the fuel pump, bad luck that has not abandoned in race 1 while fighting for the 8 place his engine is broken, forcing him to withdrawal. In the second manche started well, is motivated and moves immediately in the top 10, struggling with Hayden, Torres, Bradl, Fores and Laverty, has the rhythm of the best and there try until the end, then forced to leave his position to Camier due to the drop down of the rear tire. An exciting race which sees Go Eleven in front of factory bikes such as BMW, Honda, Yamaha and Aprilia, giving a strong signal of the quality of the work of Go Eleven team. The supersport lives another difficult weekend, learning the track for Kazuki is slowed by the weather, but he does not give up, and fight the whole race with a group of six riders but at the end is forced to give up and took at home another championship point. There is no two without three, the saying fits perfectly to Gino, this time it breaks the o-ring of the gear sensor and forced to retire. Friday had recorded times that would have seen fight for the top 5 position, if only he could reconfirm in the race.

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 1; rt): “Not much to say, I started well and I was in the group of those that matter, we could get a great result but after 4 laps my bike is broken and vanished this great opportunity. I’m sorry for the team because they have worked so hard this weekend and gave me a perfect bike.”

Roman Ramos 40 (WSBK race 2; 11th): “With the new engine all worked well, went well from the warm up, my race pace was very good, and I was confident of a good result. In the first laps I immediately brought in the front, overtaking several riders but at six laps to the end, the rear tire dumped me more than expected and i was not able to keep Torres and Fores. I’m glad, I think we have to continue along this line because we are doing a very good job and we always go on. Thanks to all my fans who came here to cheer for me.”

Gino Rea 4 (WSS race; rt): “I am disappointed to leave the first European race with no points. I made a great start but I got a bit caught up in the Mulhuaser crash on lap 1. I was confident in a top 10 finish but I had oil on my boot from the start and I had to retire on lap 5 as it gradually got worse. We know what we need to do to improve our performance so we look forward to starting again in Assen”.

Kazuki Watanabe (WSS race : 15th): “I made a good start and the feeling with the bike was very good, I was the fastest of the group with which I was and I was catching positions.missing a bit of acceleration to go away, so I decided to stay there and groped to win the sprint for 10th place, but then in the end I suffered the rear tire wear and I did not succeed. We are doing a great job together with my team and I’m sure we can improve a lot.”

Denis Sacchetti (Team Manager): “I am happy about our team, the whole team is working very well and our Superbike is growing race by race. Roman is very strong and continues to reduce the gap from the first, today we arrived in just 14 seconds from Sykes, half a second a lap from the official Kawasaki in their test track, for us is a important result, and gives us more moral managing to fighting and beating the factory bikes and riders of great global importance. In Supersport we fail to collect the results our riders deserve, we continue to be affected by bad luck and it’s difficult to keep your spirits up after a start to the season as well, but we are a united group and we are strong, together are sure we can to spin this wheel.”
