European Stock 600 Champion in 2009, 20 times on the podium between Stock, Supersport and Moto2, 3 wins and a great desire to aim for the best results possible in the World Supersport Championship! All this, and not only, answers to the name of Gino Rea, who was born in Tooting (GB) on September 18, 1989. Gino is one of the best riders in the championship and accepted the challenge that team Go Eleven launched, together they are ready to begin this new and exciting adventure!
Gino Rea: “I am extremely excited to be joining Team Go Eleven Kawasaki for 2017. I have followed their progress for a while and I believe we can achieve great things together. Whilst my 2016 season finished with some very bad luck, I did achieve three podiums and two front row starts. I want to continue those performances in 2017 and finish much higher in the championship. I am also excited to ride the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. It is a strong machine and I believe that Team Go Eleven will provide me with a competitive package in order to deliver strong results. The Supersport Championship is at a very high level, I know I can fight at the front and ultimately I want to be in a position to challenge for the World Supersport title.
