Stefano Bonetti, aka “il Bonny”, the best italian champion and expert in the road races, will enroll at the Tourist Trophy 2018 for the category Lightweight with the Paton S1-R Lightweight, a made in Italy manufactured bike. Other than that, he will also kick off in the Superbike and Superstock category with a BMW S1000RR.
An italian combo at the Isle of Man, the one between Team Paton SC-Project and Bonetti, with the aim to bring back the title to Lovere, a small town near Bergamo – land of birth of Stefano. His team mate in this adventure on the Snaefell Mountain Course will be the sacred beast of the TT, the one and only Michael Dunlop.
As a multi-times winner in CIVS and other european races, Bonetti was identified by COMI as the right choice to represent the excellence Made-in-Bergamo. A continuation of the relationship between COMI and the world of the motorsport that the company from Ciserano (BG) strongly wanted as a reminder of the dynamism and the “winners” mentality owned by the COMI group.
