There’s satisfaction in Valcar Cylance after rhe return from Holland and Belgium. A good period fir the team based in Bottanuco with the second place of Elisa Balsamo at the finish line of the EPZ Omloop Van Borsele, just behind Lorena Wiebes. Balsamo in a great dust, shiny and growing with her condition has failed to repeat the last year’s success throughout the competition. A good Valcar Cylance satisfied also in the Liege Bastogne Liege, during a cold day (4 degree at the start). Davide Arzeni’s girls did well with a determinated Marta Cavalli (26th). As well also the very young Vittoria Guazzini (18 years) who, despite a problem during the climb of La Redoute, ended the race in the top 50 positions. His age is only reassuring and the future is reassuring.
Few days and it will be time to come back on the saddle: Valcar Cylance is already projected to the next challenge that will be in Great Britain at the ASDA Tour de Yorkshire (2-4 May) where it aims a conquest to the first seasonal victory. Elisa Balsamo, the Italian champion Marta Cavalli, Chiara Consonni, Maria Giulia Confalonieri, Alice Arzuffi and Ilaria Sanguineti will be enrolled for the UK. A second representative will race at Giro della Campania in Rosa (3-5 May) which will start with a prologue in Salerno and will end in Caivano. At the start Barbara Malcotti, Alessia Vigilia, Vittoria Guazzini, Dalia Muccioli, Silvia Persico and Silvia Pollicini.
